SERVICES

A CFO and the whole back office, in one engagement.

Most owners are running a patchwork: a bookkeeper who records the past, a CPA who files the return, and nobody accountable for what happens next. We replace the patchwork with one finance function — the books, the close, the payables, the payroll — and a CFO sitting on top of it who turns all of it into decisions.

TWO WAYS IN

Both run your back office. One puts a CFO on top.

There is no tier ladder to climb and no scope held back for a higher price. The only real question is whether you need someone accountable for the decisions as well as the record.

The full engagement
Partnership
Monthly · CFO + full back office
Best for

Owners who want one accountable team running the finance function, and a CFO in the room when the decisions get expensive.

You hand over the finance function and stop managing it. We run the books, the close, the payables, the receivables and the payroll on a fixed monthly cadence — and every month you get a CFO report, a refreshed 13-week cash forecast, and a working session where we decide what to do about what we found. Questions in between get an answer within 24 hours.

Bookkeeping
Monthly · full back office, no CFO layer
Best for

Owners who need the accounting function off their desk and done properly, and are not ready to pay for strategy on top of it.

The same back office, without the CFO layer. Categorization, reconciliation, a real monthly close, statements, AP, AR, payroll and 1099s — run by the same team, to the same standard, with the same 24-hour response. You get accurate books and someone who owns them. You do not get the forecasting, the modeling, or the standing seat at your decisions.

Waitlist

We run a waitlist.

A finance function is not something you can install for an unlimited number of businesses at once, and the first sixty days of an engagement are the heaviest. When our onboarding calendar is full, new clients go on the list and start in the next open slot. Applying early costs nothing and holds your place.

WHAT GETS INSTALLED

The whole function, not a report.

Nothing here is an upsell or an add-on. The back office column is in both engagements; the CFO column is what Partnership adds.

The back office

In both engagements
Transaction categorization & reconciliation
Monthly close, on a published calendar
Financial statement prep: P&L and balance sheet
AP and bill pay
AR, invoicing & collections follow-up
Payroll processing
1099 preparation and filing
Chart of accounts design
QuickBooks setup, migration or cleanup
Year-end close and CPA handoff

The CFO layer

Partnership only
A rolling 13-week cash flow forecast
Monthly CFO report and KPI scorecard
Annual budget and rolling reforecast
Pricing and margin analysis by job, product or client
Scenario modeling for hires, equipment and debt
Bank, lender and investor reporting
Multi-entity consolidation and intercompany cleanup
Board and lender meeting prep
Response

A reply within 24 hours, both engagements.

You should never wait a week to find out what you paid a vendor or whether a job made money. Reach out and you get a real answer within one business day — not an acknowledgement now and an answer next week.

THE COST OF WAITING

Six questions. How many can you answer this afternoon?

Not roughly. Not after someone pulls a report. Today, with confidence.

What will your cash balance be eleven weeks from now?
Which of your jobs, products or clients actually made money last quarter?
Can you afford the next hire, and at what point does that hire pay for itself?
Which of your prices are below where they need to be right now?
How much is sitting in receivables past sixty days, and who owes it?
If revenue dropped fifteen percent for a quarter, what breaks first?

If more than one of those is a guess, you are making expensive decisions on incomplete information. That is the real cost, and it is charged every month the questions stay unanswered — in a price never raised, a hire made too late, a client carried too long.

GETTING STARTED

Every engagement opens with a Checkup.

We do not quote a finance function blind. Phase one of onboarding is a full diagnostic of your numbers and systems — included in the engagement, not billed separately.

Phase one
Weeks 1–3

The Financial Checkup

An end-to-end read of your financials and systems: cash and margin analysis, a reporting and KPI review, and an honest assessment of where the record is wrong and what it is costing you. You get written findings in plain English and a debrief call to walk them.

Phase two
Days 30–60

Cleanup and build

We fix what the Checkup found and stand the function up: chart of accounts rebuilt around how you actually operate, books brought current, payroll and payables transitioned onto our calendar, and the first 13-week forecast built with you rather than handed to you.

Phase three
Ongoing

The running rhythm

Close, report, forecast, decide — every month, on the same schedule, with 24-hour access in between. Your involvement drops to a couple of hours a month once the rhythm holds.

NOT READY FOR THE FULL ENGAGEMENT

The Checkup, on its own.

If you are not ready to hand over the function, buy the diagnosis by itself. Same work as phase one, fixed fee, no ongoing commitment, and you keep the findings whatever you decide to do next.

Full cash flow & margin analysis
KPI & reporting-systems review
Risk & leakage assessment
Written recommendations, plain English
60-minute debrief call to walk the findings
Turnaround
2–3 weeks

From kickoff call to final recommendations. No lingering engagement, no long onboarding.

Subject to the same waitlist. Checkups come out of the same onboarding capacity, so they book in the next open slot.
Credit

The Momentum Credit

Decide to move from a standalone Checkup into an ongoing engagement within 30 days of your debrief, and the Checkup fee rolls fully into your first month. You are never paying twice for the same diagnostic.

SITUATIONAL

Custom Projects

Defined-scope work that sits outside an ongoing engagement: M&A and diligence support, system implementations, board prep, turnaround analysis, financial modeling, or whatever the moment requires.

RISK, REMOVED

Our satisfaction guarantee.

One guarantee, both engagements, wherever you are in the relationship: if you are not seeing the value, we refund your most recent payment. No questions, no clawback of the work.

On Bookkeeping

If a month's books come back late, wrong, or harder to use than what you had before, that month is refunded. The record is the product; if it is not right, we have not delivered.

On Partnership

Say you are four months in and the CFO work is not changing how you decide. We refund month four's retainer, no matter how long you have been a client.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Thirty minutes. We will look at what you have, tell you which engagement fits, and tell you plainly if neither does.
